about

One of the first songs Eric ever wrote, and the first song on the first album by the hurricane lamps. his band with Greg. The idea of covering this track made sense for Jukebox Memoir, but we decided to stick with original material for the record.

lyrics

I know a place
where you and I can go;
I know a place where we can go.
Do you remember when the summer's heat
meant we had all night for hide and seek?
I know a place where we can go.

And the sun is always gonna shine
and the night awaits our call.
And the sun is always gonna shoe
at the Soda Tower.

I'll meet you at the Soda Tower.
Do you remember our first kiss?
Well, it's ours for the taking.
Do you remember our first kiss?
Well, it still there, waiting.
